Halloween Festivities

For FHE went to my cousins the hallsted's and carved pumpkins with them. It so so fun and they grew these pumpkins in their garden.

Return to Arizona

 Within 2 1/2 days of being back in Provo i returned to Arizona for another short weekend visit.
                            No late night sister chats anymore.Bedtime now 9:45pm

Memories

I went to the gym to go swimming tonight and went to put on my swim cap on and as i am putting on my head it rips. I was a little sad because i got this cap when i did my first triathlon. It just means now that i need to do another one to get another free swim cap. I did enjoy this cap and it did bring me lots of good luck. Need to find another one now.

Weekend Re-cap

Road to Arizona was for a big suprise brithday party for mother. People came in from all over for this big event. Lots of planning and preparation went into this party. Drove all thursday afternoon got home at 1:00 am and did some shopping with mom for some winter clothes, got some yogurtland, goodman clan came over and brought carolina's (best mexican food in az), went a wedding reception. Saturday babysat katy jane, went running, got ready headed to mother's went she was out of the house to prepare for the event.

Is it really October

You would think October the weather should be cool not 100 degrees. Well the weekend i was home for mothers 80th birthday party this is what happened.

Road Trip

Heading out today on a road trip with Shane Larson and his friend Ryan. I am way excited and road trips to Arizona have always been tons of fun so i hope this road trip to Mesa for the weekend is fun. Cant wait for a weekend in the sun and to hangout with my family. Be looking for some funny pictures later this weekend.

80 yrs

                                    HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOTHER

This women is 80 yrs old today. We call her Mother because grandma sounds old. She is a amazing person who i have learned so many things from. I am so grateful to be related to her and so lucky as to of learned so many talents She makes amazing food which i always look forward to every time i go to her house.She is always serving others and willing to help anyone with anything at any time.She may be 80 but doesn't seem or act like it. She is an early morning riser which means walks with a girl friend at 5:30 am, then practices the organ, and will of made 5 loafs of  homemade bread, and several pies all by about 10:00 am. I think i get some of my genes from her and today i hope she has the best birthday. Happy Birthday Mother, I love you

General Conference Weekend

Saturday and Sunday Went up to Salt Lake for General Conference with my friend Danielle. Stood in line and got in for all 4 sessions. Saturday Morning got to sit up front before conference started Danielle and I  got to shake L. Tom Perry's hand, a member of the quorum of the twelve apostles.

Saturday was Danille's birthday so us girls went to out to dinner after conference in Salt Lake

   I order the usually dish when i eat mexican food: bean burro no cheese and it was pretty good

Feel so uplifted after this past weekend of listening to the prophet and apostles speak. I know the church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints is true and that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet called of God. I am so grateful for the happiness and joy in my life that has come from living worthy and from the choices i have made.I am grateful for the atonement and for the power of pray.  I know that my Heavenly Father knows who i am and i know i am a daughter of him and so grateful that no matter what i have done in my life i can always pray to him and he will always love me.
