Lunch, Dinner....

Mother is in town so all the cousins living in Utah got together for lunch at Brick oven.

                         Spencer off getting food, Nathan, Susan (both in town), Natalie and her cut new baby boy Mckay, Mother, Brandi (her little boy luke) and I all met for lunch
they were so nice and had a latter lunch at 1:15 so i could go since i don't have a lunch break till 1:30.

Thursday Dinner

Lunch on Tuesday then Thursday on my way home from work i got a call from Brandi saying they were going dinner with Mother . I went and met them at Los Hermanos. It was so fun being with my cousins and their cute kids and being able to spend time with Mother.

After dinner Mother, Natalie, Gavin, Mckay, and I all went to Yo-Zone to get frozen yogurt after.

Mother was so fun to have in town and it brought everyone together. We laughed a lot, made memories and had so much fun being all  together as family.

World's Greatest MOM

I have the most amazing MOM ever. She is so loving and caring and the list could go on forever.

 She is so fun to hangout with and be around. She is my best friend......
This past weekend was my weekend of work in Arizona. It's always a busy busy weekend of working long days and my family always says when are we going to see more of you. I always get a little time to spend with my family and their are some traditions that i always look forward to.
Wednesday night i fly in my Mom picks me up for the airport and we make a stop at Yogurtland (best frozen yogurt) before going home.
Thursday my mom has some good left overs in the fridge or we meet up for dinner or she has cooked dinner.
This weekend though on Thursday i go to work and being funny send my mom a text saying "if you have time and want to make some homemade wheat-grainy bread and granola i would love it but if you don't have time or don't want to not a big deal."
                        I come home from work and see she has made

My mom made all 3 of these for me and i only asked for 2 and didn't expect any of them. She also said she went to lunch with some friends and then went to young woman's that night. She is amazing..
On Friday i come home from work and see a note of my suitcase in my room with some new PJ's from old navy saying she thought i might like them for EFY. See she is so caring and so thoughtful and i just am so lucky so have the world's greatest mom.I love my Mom

It's What I Do

Ever wonder what i do on my weekends??
                     Dance Party!!!!!!!

Most the time its nothing really excited but a few weeks ago their was a dance party in the quad of my apartment complex. It had a theme of workout attire put together my my roommate Katie Willis and our friend Ian Stepp.

EFY Training

I had EFY training for Coordinators (that's me) and Session Directors in Salt Lake all weekend. It started at 12:00 pm on Thursday and finished at 4:00pm on Saturday. It was held at the University on Utah Institute Building and they put us up in a hotel for those who didn't want to travel back and forth and for those who came in from out of state.

                                     This was my room for the weekend. They paired us coordinators up with a roommate so i got a queen bed to my self for the entire weekend since their was just 2 of us in this room.

                            We had a lot of good educated training all weekend.

Got to meet our Session Directors for each week for our locations and had good food provided for us all weekend. It was so fun hanging out with the Session Directors  and their Wife's and getting to know them without any youth or anything to worry about.
After training things are busy now in preparation for fulfilling my role of a coordinator, getting things organized and learning the manual to be prepared for the summer. 
                              Only 8 weeks till my First Session of Efy for the Summer of 2010.

Easter Sunday

My Easter Sunday 
In celebration of Easter my mom sent me a Easter Bucket earlier in the week that was filled with some goodies and a super cute orange purse. It was so cute and made me so happy. I really have the best Mom.

                                          Stood in line for the morning session of General Conference and froze while waiting. Yes its April and it is still snowing. I got into the morning session and loved how amazing the spirit was inside the conference center with the words that were spoken and the music the choir sang.

 

I also attend the afternoon session.  I love this special day to remember Jesus Christ- His life, Atonement, and Resurrection.

 

After General Conference i went to Hallsted's for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. It was so fun to be with them and to be able to have some family around to celebrate Easter with. My cousin Julie was so nice she even made me a cute little Easter bucket.

General Conference

On Saturday morning woke up and went for a nice run outside. Came back and got ready and watch conference with my roommate at my apt. Quickly left after the first session and headed up for the afternoon session and was so excited because i actually had tickets. Met up with my cousins the Hallsted's at the point of the mountain and we all drove up together in 1 car.  We got up their attended the afternoon session then met up with some cousins who also were up their after the session.

After chatting with family we went over to the new Desert Book across from the visitors center and shopped around for a bit.  After shopping around we went and had dinner with Derek's Dad and brother Justin at the Navuoo Cafe (so yummy) then the boys went to the priesthood session. The girls decided to go do some more shopping at Gateway to kill some time so Amanda wouldn't have to wait by herself for Derek. It was so fun spending the weekend with family and enjoying conference.
