I love talking to my family on Skype. Always get a good laugh and i think you can see why Jake is usually serious but..

Holly many times has taken pictures of me on skype and when she was making funny faces i couldn't help but laugh and i took a few pictures.Thought i was so funny for taking them and she had no idea. Always captured her at the perfect moment.
An evening with President Henry B. Eyring was what last night (Friday night) entailed for me. I had the opportunity to be at a fireside for all CES employee's were in the Tabernacle on Temple Square (Salt Lake City, Utah) i sat 7 rows from where he spoke. I have never sat so close to where an apostle spoke. It was an inspiring night where everything: the music, and the words spoken were amazing. I learned so much and am excited to use the new tools i learned in my teaching opportunities. After the fireside they had a light dinner in the conference center and I felt so lucky and a little spoiled I got to be their. All thanks to my friend Meg Ryan who is a student teaching for seminary. She had an extra ticket and invited me to go with her. It was a perfect way to spend the night.
This past weekend i was home in Arizona for my monthly work weekend. I love going home one weekend a month to see my family and eat some delicious food. This weekend involved a good meal on Thursday night.. Friday night parents treat to Wildflower for dinner and then I treated myself to Yogurtland (favorite yogurt place).
Saturday morning went to Mothers with my mom and my brother Jake came over and was able to visit with Mother then packed my stuff made a stop at my nephew Brigham basketball game and headed to work for the afternoon. It was a really fun filled weekend and i loved being home with my family.Also got to snag a big bag of homemade granola which was so good. Brigham is a pro basketball player
Valentines Day is also a holiday i love. My mom usually has a valentine gift and breakfast for us when we wake up but since i am away from home things are a little different. Today I woke up to find this on the table

I made chocolate covered strawberries for my roommates for valentines day and they turned out so cute. I love all the love you feel from everyone on a holiday like today.
Its has been a great week with a package that my mom and my brother Jake sent me this week. I had some workout pants that i really wanted, valentines day socks, yogurt covered pretzels with valentine sprinkles, and a few other fun things. I really have the best family ever and I love them so much.
So i am a runner and have been since i did cross country in high school. I have gone in stages of loving to run but for the past 2 years i have been consistent with my running. I have always wanted to do a marathon or half marathon but just never have. Well this year i am doing a half marathon and am so excited. I am registered and everything so their is no backing out for me. I am going to be doing the Provo half marathon May 1. I owe a thanks to my cousin Brandi who is also running it for telling me about and sending me the info.
I will be running the Provo City Half Marathon May 1..... So excited
For Friend Whitney's Birthday we had cake and ice cream at my apt for her. It was so fun to see her and celebrate her birthday with delicious chocolate cake that i made (was very proud of myself: cake was from scratch and was so moist) and her fiance brought cookies n' cream ice cream to go with the cake.

Saturday Morning went up to Aspen Grove just past Sundance Ski Resort with 2 guys in my ward. (Dan Noaks and Cory McBride) We built a jump to ski/ snowboard off of... It was so fun and it snowed the whole time.
