Travel Bound Again

I have not been very good with blogging because my time has been consumed my 3 summer school classes, balancing work and traveling which has been the most fun.

 I just finished one class last night (I got an A) and now only have 2 more to go before I start ASU in 2 weeks. I have been traveling to New York and DC in May, Pinedale Az- roommates cabin,  Utah for the 4th of July, Family Reunion in Parks AZ, Eager Az, and now my last summer vacation will be tomorrow as I head to Nauvoo Illinois for 5 days. Super excited and maybe when i get back and finish my classes I will have more time to blog.

Travel Adventures

Took a trip to NY with My Mom, Aunt Susan, 2 cousins Jourdan and Natalie, meeting up with my cousin Britton and his fabulous wife Lane. 

Spent four days walking through the city... had a blast...   laughed the whole time... bonded with the girls and loved every second I spent with them.  The best part had to be, spending time my mom without any other siblings around to steal the attention ...

Met up with the Mother and spent 5 days in DC with our new favorite relative M, who made us feel like queens in his beautiful home. Again our questions consisted of, where did they shoot Forest Gump and what does DC stand for, sad but true.

Babysitting Adventures

I love family birthday parties..

For "Tazmaian's" birthday it called for family birthday dinner at Mother's...

Great Food, Great Entertainment, Delicious cupcakes (strawberry for the kids, carrot for the others)

Always laughter with this one... She will always make you laugh by the things she does...

                   Relaxing and taking it easy while looking cool as G-money waits for the food

R-A-G-N-A-R

This past weekend ran the Ragnar Relay and it was tons of fun.
We were the Swiss Rappers..

Their was lots of laughter.. some toilet paper football while cheering on teammate on

Their was our money maker van.. don't know how that came about but we thought it was funny

 I did some dancing while warming up for my first run....

(legs felt like cement at this point, btw esp with trying to conquer rolling hills in Scottsdale)

last run on about 1 1/2 hrs of sleep

my thoughts on that:
i'm pleased with all my times, but i'm freakin' stoked about Leg 2. because the weather was perfect, felt so good while running, was full of energy and felt when i was done i wanted to keep running. i think sometimes i will now i will want to run late night but don't worry i wont i know its not safe.

overall:
200 miles. 30ish hours. so much running. not so much sleeping. so much time in a mini van. so much friendship making. lots and lots of laughter and lots of cheering for teammates.  not so much showering. so much dance partying on the side of the road.

oh, and sooo. much. Swiss Rappering . and a desire to do this again next year

Sunday Dinners

Sunday Dinners are always fun when everyone is together..

Eternal Families

I had the chance and opportunity to speak in church today about the Family Proclamation.. While i was studying for my talk the other day i say a video and it really touched me and testified to be we can have eternal families.

Phelps Girls Getaway

A weekend with the Phelps cousins and Aunts for a California Trip
Weekend Started Thursday morning as we waited to board our flight..

 

Cali here we come.. 

be ready their are 23 of us coming...

Arrived in Cali and already looking like movie stars..

Checked in the Hotel, headed to PF Changs for a amazing lunch

Dinner: Got a recommendation to Baby Blue's Barbeque and it was tasty...

 Friday Night Hollywood here we come with I-Tron in the back of us..

 Me and the Stars.. I think i should have a star since i was famous on TV a few times..

Friday super fun.. lots of laughter.. lasting memories .. storied to be told.. people being left at dinner...

Saturday

We packed our bags.. met up for breakfast.. and then headed to go shopping at the Fashion District

My mom found some more kids that wanted to come along for the rest of the trip...

Finished shopping and made a stop at Baja fresh for a late lunch/ early dinner before heading to the airport

We arrived in phoenix safely but had the time of our lives with 23 of us in Burkand Cali

Wont miss the annual  Phelps Girls Trip again because these trips will bring lots and lots of laughter esp if my cousin Kambi is along.

As for those who didn't come this year maybe next year you will come for the fun..

Winter Weekend Get Away

A group of us went up to Pine Top for a winter weekend..

Some of us went snowboarding and stopped on the slops for a snow fight

The crew of 14 of us.. so so much fun .. lots of laughter.. hanging out with cute boys and making new friends.
Thanks to Ashley Chapman it was a weekend to remember.

Christmas Afternoon

The Goodmans came over Christmas Afternoon for more Christmas celebration....

 Katy was so fun this year... she loved all her gifts that were all under $3...each one got good facial reactions

It was a super fun Christmas filled with eating cheese and chips, oranges, taking naps, playing with new toys, and lots of laughter...

Christmas Day

This year it was a Very Merry Christmas....

Woke up ate breakfast... everyone had eggs and homemade bread (aka toast)
Then we were off on a Christmas Bike ride out to see what the grand-kids got for Christmas.. David drove his truck, Mom and Dad and I rode our bikes..

Showed up at Goodman's to see their Christmas gifts...

  The girls got bunk beds.. plus lots of other fun things (make-up, i-pod and more)
Katy got a sweet play kitchen and a pink  play vacuum just like her mom's to help her clean the house
Brigham .. well he got tickets for him and his dad to go to the fiesta bowl new years day...

Amy a sweet super cute white watch just as she has been wanting for a long time

Now what did the Phelps get for Christmas

Jake.. a sweet chest protector for when he rides his quad and dirt bike

David and Dad both got instant breakfast since they drink it almost everyday
David also got car care cleaners.. plus a few other things
Dad...

 Dad got a nose/ ear hair trimmer, chocolate milk & mounds bar.. simple gifts put the biggest smile on his face

Mom got a bose sound deck and she was soo happy when she opened it..

I finally got bike shoes... i love them
This was a few things we all got but we all had the best Christmas being together... did miss Holly and Tyson but their in paradise (aka costa rica)

Part 2 of Christmas with the Goodman;s with the Phelps home will come tomorrow..

Hope everyone had the best Christmas and remember that Christmas is best spent with Family, and Remembering the Birth of our Savior Jesus Christ..
